We are situated in Petworth in West Sussex. For those with GPS, our post code is GU28 0AU. Reference the map to the right, our shop is situated on the High Street, opposite the junction with Middle Street.
Petworth is situated on the A272 between Midhurst in the West and Billingshurst in the East and on the A283 from Godalming and A285 from Chichester.
Parking There is a large FREE public car park just to the south of the town centre (Market Square). Reference the map, it is between Pound Street and Rosemary Lane, but not accessible by car from either. Note - this car park is very popular, so it is likely that you may need to go to the far end to find a space.
It is also possible to park in High Street and in Market Square.
From Midhurst - after the 30 mph sign, turn left at the roundabout. Follow the one way system past the large wooden gates to Petworth House. Just after the sharp right turn, take the first right signposted town centre. At the Give Way sign, continue straight ahead towards Somerfields supermarket. Continue straight ahead with Somerfields on your left. The car park is straight ahead.
From Chichester - straight across the roundabout where the A272 comes in from the left hand side from Midhurst then follow the same instructions as for Midhurst.
From Godalming and Billingshurst - follow the A272 into Petworth. There is a large church on the right hand side. Follow the one way system (East Street) to the cross roads. Turn right and then follow the road through the square (possible parking if you are lucky) and then round to the left and left again. Keep Somerfields on your left hand side and the car park is straight ahead.
From Pulborough - Follow the A283 into Petworth. Continue past the Angel Hotel (on the right hand side). Follow the road into the square (possible parking if you are lucky) and then round to the left and left again. Keep Somerfields on your left hand side and the car park is straight ahead.
Public Transport
The nearest railway stations are Pulborough (5.3 miles - London Victoria to Chichester line calling at Gatwick Airport), Billingshurst (9.2 miles on the London to Chichester line) and Haslemere (10.8 miles - London Waterloo to Portsmouth line).
There is a bus service between Pulborough Station and Petworth. This runs once an hour during the week and less frequently at weekends.
