Indian Ebony Stool, with upholstered drop in seat pad( modern) supported by blocks glued onto a carved, turned and peg jointed frame, all surfaces carved with a repeated foliate design, aside from one side , suggesting that this piece may have started life as a chair with a back support. Legs and stretchers have barley twist turnings and terminating in ball feet.
