Important and Unique Set of Six Chairs, two carvers and four singles, in Oak, each chair with a thick Elm saddle seat supported on four square fluted and chamfered splayed "Marlborough" legs, the backs with shaped top rails joined and pegged to the seats by Oak spills and braced from behind by a further two spills, and with a waisted shield shaped back decorated with armorial crests and badges of the Percy family, Dukes of Northumberland. the carvers with shaped arms on turned balaster supports.
