North Wales Dresser and Rack, in Oak, Mahogany and Pine, the rack with moulded cornice above a facia board with inlaid decoration of Ebony and Sycamore, supported on moulded and inlaid Mahogany pillasters, the pine shelves faced with Oak mouldings and backed with wide Pine boards. The base with a cleated Oak top supported on a Mahogany front frame with inlaid decoration and initials O.W. The drawers, Oak fronted with inlaid Rosewood lining, brass handles and diamond Bone eschutcutions, The cupboards with hexagonal panels inlaid with Ebony quadrant fans of Sycamore and with working locks. The sides panelled in stained Pine. All standing on original bracket feet.
Originally owned by a Captain Owen Williams, merchantman and purchased from a descendant.
This dresser is beautifully made and in fine condition.
