Regency Rush Seated Chair in the Empire Style

Rare Regency Country Chair in painted Ash,the form an interpretation of the French Empire style, with rush seat, the back with crossed arrows and pressed brass central patera, the arms in steam bent Ash with the post carrying through to the strecher, in the Yealmpton , South Devon manner, the turned legs joined by double stretchers and with a front bow shaped central stretcher.
very original state with grained paint finish over earlier blue colour.
