Japanese Lacquer Cabinet

Japanese Lacquer Cabinet, decorated all over and inside with fine lacquer decoration, of square form, with a pair of doors which open to reveal three drawers with copper handles. the doors, with shaped vignettes of gilded landscape scenes on a black ground  surrounded by a repeated gilded diaper pattern, the sides back and top all decorated with mons and stylised motives. the doors with elaborate engraved handles and lock plate, the interior decorated with flying storks and birds amongst foliage.
General condition fair but with some minor damage and missing base plynth.
