Japanese Laquer BOX

Japanese Lacquer Box, decorated in Takamake-e gold, pewter and mother of pearl, with a water side scene of fish baskets and fallen maple leaves on a black ground. The interior in nashiji lacquer, the lid with silver plated trim. In the style of Ogate Korin (1658-1716).
Japanese, 19th century, in well used condition with some rubbing and chips.
