Neo-classical Lamp Base

Neo-classical Lamp Base in the form of a marblised turned wood urn with a profile portait of a man surrounded by gilded swag appliqués. Novelty of the lamp is that the portrait medallion is also a door with lock opening to reveil a hollow interior or secret hiding place.
 In counry house condition with a few knocks but readily restorable.
