Ceramic Fire Surround

 Ceramic Fire Surround by contemporary potter Marion Brandis, the surround constructed from five interlocking pottery blocks suported on upright side classical columns, so seven pieces in all. This unusual creation has a touch of Bloomsbury, Picasso and Dali with motives of fruit, flowers, tea pot and jug. Made circa 1980.
Marion is a Sussex based, well established, inventive, and original potter creating ceramics from small objects to large scale outside ornament and schemes for municipal and public spaces.
She is willing to help assemble the fire surround should the need arrise.
