Weather Vane in the form of a Cockerel in painted zinc and iron, the well detailed and feathered bird mounted on a directional frame in tubular zinc with gothic letters, with original historic paint. supported on an associated lead base.
provenance: The Old Coach House, Lewes, Sussex. possibly made by a member of the Larvill family, who were tinsmiths to George IV and resident in Lewes.
