Chinoiserie Collectors Cabinet

Japanned Lacquer Cabinet on Stand of small size, the cabinet with doors and sides decorated with Chinoiserie scenes on a black ground.  The pair of doors open to show decorated boxes all numbered and when taken out  can be opened showing the original blue interior for displaying collectors items but never used. The cabinet is supported on a later, but sympathetically decorated stand with square legs and fretted brackets.
