George III Anglo Indian Dressing Chest, in Mahogany, the lifting folding top, with reeded Ebony trim, opens to reveil a once fitted compartment, this with it's faux drawer front is above an asymetric arrangement of opening drawers, with the survival of the the lower right pulling out on drop down feet, as a bidet with it's original Spode basin. The drawers all with early 19th century turned Mahogany knobs which have replaced the original prest brass handles at some point. The sides are panelled, with original carrying handles and the back is also panelled. the piece sits and tapered feet with original square brass cup casters.
