George III Studded Hide Trunk

George III Trunk, in pine and covered in deer hide, with natural hide in panels and bordered by gilt brass studding and then with corners of leather decorated with gilded chinoiserie scenes and a depiction of Britainia in the central oval cartouche. The interior papered with original marblised paper. the trunk is mounted on a line painted frame on bun feet.
An exceptional and rare article.
