Welsh Dresser Base

Oak Dresser Base of unusual form and good colour, with some historic alterations, the overhanging plank top with cleated ends and moulded edge, above a pair of moulded edge drawers with brass swan neck handles and shaped escutcheon plates, in turn above a pair of boarded doors seperated by a central panel all with half round border mouldings and heavy butt hinges. the sides and back filled in with boards, showing that this was originally an open pot board dresser with shamfered legs.
