Pair of Dummy Boards, depicting Lady Guinevere and Sir Lancelot, painted in oil on canvas and mounted on wood boards with plinth bases.
These figures are associated with a mock-medieval joust or tournament which was sponsored by the 13th Earl of Eglinton, and which took place at Eglinton Castle near Kilwinning in Ayrshire, Scotland on the 30th August 1839.
