Regency Set of Six Painted Bar Back Dining Chairs. in Beech, with cane seats, the frames turned with rings painted to simulate bamboo al be it in blue paint and black line painting. The backs with a turned bar back top rail above an octagonal star painted panel held between ebonised balls and line painted rails, the cane seats with line painted frames with rounded corners, the front with opposing bowed stretchers held apart by a pair of ebonised balls, the sides with a pair of plain turned stretchers. One chair has been metalled to strengthen the seat rail, the chairs are structurally sound but fragile and would need squab cushions for the seats. The wonderful pale blue colour is a rare colourway.
