Walnut Dining Table made by Whytock and Reid, Edinburgh, circa 1925. The top of African Walnut crossbanded with Satinwood divided by patches of Burr Walnut raised on gothic linenfold end supports with Amboyna panels on curved  and carved Walnut sledge feet.
Whytock and Reid was a leading high quality furniture manufacturer started in 1807 and existing until 2004. made furniture for  many of Scotlands grand houses and including for the Royal Family.
