Oak and Ash Table of jointed construction, the simple plank top with hinged drop flap, supported on a base of 4 turned large balaster legs joined by moulded and shaped frieze rails and lower stretchers and a single gate leg with small balaster turnings. This table probably started life as a joint stool, circa 1640 and had the top and gate added in circa 1700.
