Painted Dummy Board

Dummy Board of small scale with a painting of a 17th century style woman courtier in the style of Valasquez, the silouette cut ply- board is decorated with a woman dressed in fine clothes. The board is supported on a tole tray base and with a a rolled tin hoop which suggests it could have been a stick and umbrella stand. written on the back , the following " after Velasquez, 1922" there is a label attached printed with the name The Pantechnicon, Belgrave Square with the name Mrs T E Baring, 9th June 1958
