Queen Ann Period Portrait of a Gentleman

Queen Ann Period Oil on Canvas, portrait of a gentleman in original contempary frame. The unknown gentleman dressed in the fashionable style of the time with an apricot silk tunic with polished cut steel buttons and laced chemise and scarf, and full length wig. The young gentleman himself, of pale complexion and imperious gaze and pose with ushering right arm.
The portrait has been relined and restretchered in the 19th century and has recently had some small repairs  to the canvas and a clean. It is contained whithin it's original carved wood frame which is gilded, there is evidence though that it was originally a silvered frame.
