William IV Linen Press, in Mahogany, of architectural form with crenelated cornice above a pair of doors each with double gothic panels veneered with flame Mahogany and divided by mouldings and gothic pillasters, above a low and deep waste moulding, above two full width moulded drawers again veneered with flame Mahogany and bordered by gothic pillasters, above a raised plynth base.
The interior with hanging space on one side and draw slides on the other plus gilt brass hooks, the drawers are ash lined and with original handles and inset escutcheons.
Trade Label of James Parker, Cabinet Maker & Upholsterer, 99 Union street, Glasgow, attached to the back of the interior.
The press dismantles into three parts, cornice, cupboards and base with drawers.
