George III Architectural Corner Cupboard in well figured Oak, the fielded panel door with a central compass rose of inlaid Ebony and Holly, the panel corners similarily inlaid. The door casing with fluted pillasters leading from a base moulding to a breakfront cornice with a running Vitruvian scrole frieze punctuated by carved Ebony patera, and finished off with a dental cornice of alternative Ebony and Holly blocks below a belection mould. The door, with brass H hinges and pierced escutcheon, opening to reveal an interior of refined and graduated shaped shelves.
