18th Century Turned Rush Seated Chair, of good colour in an unusual timber, possibly West Indian Cocus wood or Lignum Vitae or more locally, Blackthorn. The back with two full length turned suports joined together by curved and shaped "Salamander" ladder back rails, the turned arms supported on heavily turned front supports, with rush seat above two turned all round stretchers
