Ladder Back Rocking Chair, in Ash, the curved ladder back splats held between two turned back posts, topped by finials, they are attached to the thick turned front legs by worn arm rests, above a good rush seat,the lower legs are joined by turned stretchers and sit on curved rocker bars (later). the chair has old paint and varnish worn through in places to the lovely pale Ash timber.
one back post has an old repaired break.
