Regency Chair Back Settee

Regency Chair Back Settee, in Beech with a simulated Rosewood finish with Empire style gilded decoration and line painting, the back with fretwork and bentwood ornament, the back joined to the front turned legs with scrole arms, a squab cushion is supported by a cane seat on splayed legs back and front, all with brass cup casters.
Painted  surface dating to 1830, with an earlier paint scheme of simulated Ebony with Ivory stringing. circa 1810, reveiled in some areas!
